Technology

              Technology today is something people use everyday, but now technology has been taking over childrens and adults life's. Kids are stuck with their devises that they don't want to go play outside and playing sports. Some parents have avoided electric devices for there children and it help them to pay more attention in school and get involved in sports. Some adults are stuck with technology with social media including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc...

    The first technology was invented in 1860, it was the fire extinguisher. It wasn't like a electronically devices the fire extinguisher was the first step to technology and what it is today. Technogly is helping many people including disable people, people who can't see or hear, and etc.... . At the same time it's also making it worse for people around the world, technology is taking over people jobs, kids are getting addicted, ruining the environment, and etc... . I am subjective about this topic but if we eliminate the things that ruin the environment and us we can stop more problems that are happening because of technogly.

My Trip To Mexico

         It was my second time going to Mexico in over 12 years so I was a little nervous about it. I went to Mexico with my family and it was about a 4 hour flight and it felt like it was going to take forever. When we got there we rented a van that could fit up to 12 people and we had our own personal driver to take us where we wanted to go. After renting the car we went to go check in to the hotel and it was the best hotel I have ever seen. Since it was a 4 hour flight we were hungry so went to go eat. After we went cruising to analyze how Mexico look like, and it was amazing.
         The next day we went to go eat breakfast in the airport, the hotel and the airport were connected so we just went across the bring to eat. After that we went to a small village with a bunch of stores, we shop there for a little bit and it was pretty intresting. Then the next day it was our last day so we decided to go to the airport until it was time to leave. I'm going to Mexico this summer again and hope I could see more things that I don't see here in the United States.

The Crossover

            The book that I read was "The Crossover by Kwame Alexander. This book is not a normal book, this book is telling a story but in a poem. The poems are broken down into moments where it change a kids life forever. Every moment of this kid life it was important to him and to his family because his life changes from bad to good. He is very positive no matter how bad his life is and the condition he is living in. 
            A kid name Josh Bell loves basketball and he would talked about basketball 24/7, his nickname was Filthy Mcnasty because he would impress everybody. He lived in a bad neighborhood But his family were average people who would work, be organized and be responsible with their responsibilities. He would grow up and would get involve in basketball, he would go to games, he'll be in teams, and tournaments, he later on went to college and that's when his life change. People from the NBA saw him play and offered him a contract and he join the NBA. He played for several years and he got to the point where he was ready to retire, he played his last game and saw a little boy sitting where he always used to sit in basketball games and said" one day that kid will make it too".
           This book was really interesting because that quote got to me, at first I was confused when he said "that kid would make it too". When he said it I was thinking to myself " make it where". So I read more through the book and the author stated that" that kid who Josh saw"..... that kid was me. In real life he went to a game during the pre game show and NBA player said that quote and he saw and heard him say that and it inspired him.

Should Students Get Less Homework?

       Students all over the world complain that teachers are giving us too much homework. We believe that if we get less homework we would be less stress with our lives and keep things organized. Less stress means we have less things in our lives and more time. Also if students are learning something a student doesn't understand it yet but still gets homework they can have a hard time at home understanding it. That is what causes stress to students and they have no teacher at there house to help them.
      A solution to solve this problem is for teacher to give us time at school to work on our homework. This solution will be helpful because we could ask for help if we're having trouble and when we get home we don't have to worry about having homework because we already finish it. Another solution is while the teacher is demonstrating his/her work the students could take notes for when they are confused they can used their notes for they can remember how to to do it.

What I'm going to do this Summer

         Summer is just around the corner and I'm thinking what am I going to do this summer. This year I'll be graduating so I'm going to have a ceremony. The day after that I will be going to Georgia with my cousins. I'm going to be going for a week or two. I'll be fun because Georgia has amazing places to go to. One of the places we are going to go to is World of Coca-Cola, there's like a neighborhood of just Coca-Cola. That's one of many places Georgia is famous for. I'm so apprehensive for summer to begin.
        After Atlanta my birthday is coming up and I don't really know what I'm going to do for my birthday. Probably just a dinner with my family. Then one of our biggest trips is going to be to Mexico. All of our family is going and we're going for two weeks. It's going to fun because there are so many things I haven't done yet The day after I come from Mexico I go to school that day so I'm going to be tired. This summer is going to be one of the best u had yet.

Graduating This Year

            This year I will be graduating from middle school to high School and it will be a big impact in my life. These last 3 years in middle school have been amazing, I had good grades, fun teachers,  and great classmates. It's been an amazing 3 years in my middle school and I hope to have more success in high school. My teachers have been pushing us each year to be successful for it can be easier when we get to high school. It has been interesting in 6th, 7th, and 8th and hope it would good in high school as well.
             I can refer from one of my teachers that he makes class fun but in an educational way. He will find a way for my classmates and I are not bored and interested in what we're learning. All the teachers in my school are very active and can act just like us. They alol know that we can do it we just have to attempt to try. I'm honestly kind've scared to go to high school because it's like triple the size of my school and students. I know I'll be alright and I know I could do something big in high school.

Dallas Cowboys 2017-2018 Prediction

        This year the 2017 draft was unbelievable, college players were draft, players were traded, and shocking moments happend. All 32 teams got decent players but what I'm most excited for is what the rookies are going to do with the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys got 9 pick and they determine which players they needed on their team.The players they got were Vidauntae "Taco" Charlton, Chidobe Awuzie,  Jourdan Lewis, Ryan Switzer, Xavier Woods, Marquez White, Joey Ivie, and Jordan Carrell. These football players are really good in there position and I can't wait to see what they can do.
         Upcoming season the Cowboys are playing the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angels Rams, GreenBay Packers, San Francisco 49er's, Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs. Atlanta Falcons,  Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angels Chargers, Oakland Raiders, and the Seattle Seahawks. These teams are going to be really difficult because of the players they got in the draft but I think the Cowboys could manage. I know they can go undefeated but I think there record is going to be 12-4. That's a good record to make it to the playoffs. I think they would go to the SuperBowl and win it all, This year will be interesting and what teams will get the upset win.
      

Unstoppable

            People all over the world loves playing sports, people would eat, sleep, play sports and repeat. They would do anything to get to play a sport, that's what a boy did to play football again. The book that I read was "Unstoppable" by Tim Green. This book is about a boy name Harrison who his parents abonded him because they weren't ready to take care of a child so they put him in a orphanage and he got adopted by these two old couple who were so mean to him and the other kids they have adopted. He lived with them for 5 years and then then his dad died. His mom didn't want to take care of them anymore so she put them back in an orphanage. Harrison was a bad kid while living with the parents who adopted him. They weren't sure if he would be eligable to be adopted for how bad he acted. Then a police officer came towards him and she had a daughter who was looking for adopting a child so her and her husband choose him.
             He got confrontable with his new parents, they were nice, respectful, and caring. Her husband (Coach) was a coach for a football team and told him if he wanted to play football. So he tried it out and he was unstoppable. He join the team and the team kept winning games week by week. He keeps recalling when he use to always watch Monday Night Football .Then they made it to the championship. He found that someone he is related to him dies. He's been having pain and they took then to the doctors . They told him he had cancer and lost his leg. He was facing challenges and doesn't want to give up of living his dreams. He wants to keep on going to play football again.

Are The Bulls Going To Win A Championship This Year?

               This year Bulls have been getting the upset win, over the Cavaliers, Celtics, and many more. There not a favorite to win this year championship but it could happen. Last Night (April, 16, 2017) was the first day of the playoff and they took the win (106-102). They need 3 more games to win to go to the next round in the playoff. There's a chance they could also lose because they have been in the playoffs from (2005-2017) and they have been in the playoffs 11 times and out of that 11 times they had won the first game but then lose that round 5 more time this century. Bulls have won 6 championship and could be there 7 this year.

         In this years Playoffs the teams that are in it are Golden State Warriors, PortLand Trails Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunders, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzles, Indiana Pacers, Clevand Cavilers, Toranto Raptors Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and The Chicago Bulls. Bulls are the lowing seed in the playoffs and there not favorites to win this year. You never know what could happen, they could get the upset win. The Bulls have to rely on themselves and their teammates to win the upcoming games. This is just the beginning of the playoffs so anything could happen.

           

"Life Is Beautiful"

        Based on the movie and the poem we haved read, it relates to each other because it tells different point of views of how it started and the situations that were happening inside and outside the camps. Every peom or movie has this special connections where it makes people feel sorry for them and wish they could do something about it but they can't because it already happen. There are so many poems and movies about the holocaust because so many people were involed in it and most of them died and only a few lived today to tell us the story for nobody can forget about it. The difference about the movie and the poem is that it tells different story, some had amazing stories and some had stories that were brutal. Situations were happening all over the world and people were upstanders to fight for what's right.

                                The holocaust was a horriable event that nobody wants to remember, but we could remember the good things people did to stop this tragedy. The movie didn't start out as sad as it was in the end. It was funny and Explicit. it was interesting how people lived during that time even if they were rich or poor. If you lookin different point of views you can see how people lived. This movie is very serious because it's involved during the holocaust and that's an event that is really important.

                   The movie is called "Life Is Beautiful for a reason, that reason is because life is beautiful. We should enjoy and be thankful of what we have because during that time it was a brutle event but the main character never saw life as bad he still lived a happy life. One example is when he is in the camps his son was feeling uncomfortable but he still found a way to make him feel better even though the camps were horrible.

Second Impact

The book I read was called "Second Impact" by David Klass. This book is about getting a second chance with life, this kid Name Jerry who was playing football in college and one day he went to a party and he drank to much and when he left he crash and injured himself and killing a cheerleader.  He got lock up for a few months and he Change his life around instantly, soon later he got out and had a real hard time getting back with his normal life, it took him a few months to get his act together and his team made it to the playoffs. He had his ups and downs while getting in the top of the league.
When he made it to the championship it was hard for him because he caught the flew but that didn't stop him from playing because coaches from colleges were evaluating him and his team.

I really injoyed this book because there was a bunch of twist and turns in his life he still manage to control. This book is trying to tell to the readers that were all are going to have a second chance but when we get that chance there are going to be obstacles were going to have to get three. I like how it wasn't like a normal book with the narrator telling it in thrid person it's a blog post. For every opportunity there's is for you just take it and see where it leads you.  

Propaganda

This picture is trying to say that Jews are bad, mean, and angry. Whoever made this picture was sending a message to other people other than Jews that there not Reliable and you should spend time with them. This effect the Jews because they will probably believe them and not talk to Jews, Treat them poorly, or even threaten to kill them. You should not listen to what other people says, you can't believe people until you see it yourself. It's others people's opinion and don't believe what others say because it could be false.

Something I Regret

Every person regrets something, it could be something not important or something personal but it's still something people regret. Something I regret is quitting football. I was ready to play football on the first day I love it but not the drills, it was awful and I was ready to give up so I did. Ever since then my family would make fun of me and my cousin for quitting football and since then I would just ignore it. It got to the point where it went over the limit and I decided to do something about it. I decided instead of ignoring it I decided to Develop my skills to join football again when I go to high school. They don't believe me and say "I'm gonna quit again". That's not going to happen, this time I going to prove them wrongs and for I could not  regret it for the rest of my life. 

If I Could Meet Any Famous Person It Would Be............

If I could meet anybody famous it would be Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot. They are football players for the Dallas Cowboys, Dak is the Quarterback and Elliot is the Running Back. I would pick them because they are Phenomenal  (The Dallas Cowboys) and because they do pranks on each other so it would be an exciting and joy day. The first thing I will do with them is play with them in the Dallas Cowboys stadium, then we would go to get ice-cream and talk in the limo about how they started of with there career with football. After we would play video games and have blast. Finally I would ask for autographs, pictures, and jerseys and I will never forget that moment because it's one of the best moment I ever had.

The skittles commercial

The message the director are trying to send is you can do anything for romance even though there are some crazy things happening. This commercial is kinda important because they are demonstrating how love really works and that there is romance for everyone. They are trying to reach to people who wants to find romance and showing a classic time where guys shows up in girls window and getting there attention. With the people who are catching the skittles in there mouth just loves skittles. They want to show that skittles are amazing and people should buy them as a advertisement.d

The skittles commercial involves romance, a kid who wants to gets a girl attention by throwing skittles to her window. What it seems like she doesn't like him and only wants the skittles. Then her family comes in and takes turns eating skittles, then after all the family got skittles unexpected people came in like a robber, police officer, and a platypus . I get that the robber and the police officer was there because the robber probably was trying to break in the house and the police officer was chasing him. From everything they could've put in there they put a platypus, why? There has to be a reason the directors put a platypus in the commercial.

The Dallas Cowboys

   The Dallas Cowboys (Americas Team) was made as a team in 1960, The founder was Clint Murchison Jr but before he introduce the Cowboys to the NFL he bought the team from Bert Bell who had the team as the Dallas Texans. There first season was there worst season, they had a record of 1-11 and people thought the team was a joke. They shared the stadium with the Houston Texans, Clint was losing money and decided to sell the team to his college buddy who is still the owner today and his name is Jerry Jones. When he came along the team flip, he made sure he brought his A game to each game, he made the Cowboys go to the playoffs 20 times, win an NFC championship 8 times, go to the Super Bowl 8 times and win 5 of them. There's a total of 21 players that are in the Ring Of Honor, when the team got popular Jones decided locate them somewhere else and that would be in Arlington,Texas.
                    My reflection is ovious that I love this book because there my favorite team but that's not the reason. The reason I like this book because it showed how the Dallas Cowboys became one of the most successful team today. Every team starts out bad but they get there moments when they win a Super Bowl. This book tells us the story's about the football players and told how bad or good there childhood was and how they became one of the top people in the NFL.

The Best Advice I have Ever Received

The best Advice I have ever received was from my parents, they want to guide me into a successful path and keep on going.They told me that " they had never been in college because how poor they were back then, they went to high school but they didn't have enough money to keep on going. When they told me that story they told me " I don't want you to be the way we were, we want you to have a great childhood and keep on going with school and do something with you life". They inspired each and everyday to try my best and keep on moving forward, everybody has there up's and down's but there can't be nothing that could bring you down from education. They Persevere me everyday and tell me that" You Could Be Someone In Life".

The worst argument I ever had

   The worst argument I ever had was with my sister, I would always take advantage to sit in front of the car. Now she's older so it's more difficult and I try to comprehend to her that she is still small but now we would fight to see who would sit in the front. I learn from this was that I had to be the bigger person and to let he sit in the front but she started bragging about it so I just had enough and started arguing with her about who is going to sit in the front. We would just start bothering my parents because we were arguing too much so they decided that the first person who says" Dibs" right when were about to leave gets to sit in the front. That really help me because she would always forget to say"Dibs" so I would take advantage.

Fake It..... ti'll you become it?

There are manly insperational quotes but this one stuck out. There's another quote that states" Fake it until you make it. That's a good quote but it's not go to help you in life when you actually make it and you wont know what to do. People suggests when you become it, it will create boost to your future and make your life more successful. Just try because it could lead you to a future that you love just don't forget to "Fake it till you become it".  

Something I Did Kind

                         Something I did kind was giving gifts, your thinking since it was Christmas and I was giving out gifts, NO, that's nots it. I did something no one in my family that is a kid or teenager and it was giving them gifts. I bought all of them gifts and with my own money. When Christmas was coming up I was thinking that I could save up money to buy them gifts, but I thought to myself"How am I going to earn money" and that's when I started going house to house to shovel their snow. I earn about $20-$40 a block. 

I was making enough money to buy everyone of my family member a gift. I made about $170 and I knew that it was enough to buy some gifts. It's was Christmas Day and they came over my house so I got my gifts and told them that" I work hard to earn this money and I hope you guys love these gifts. They open it and they loved it. Everybody got a Dallas Cowboys merchandise and I was so happy because they got the gift but that wasn't the real reason it made me happy it was because I felt proud that I earn it myself and I made people smile.
